[Ryuunosuke's entirely too used to being called in to take care of jobs at the last minute, though they're usually incredibly dull and the only reason he even bothers is for payment. He wasn't about to turn Silver down though and he can certainly use the extra money, so naturally he agreed. It doesn't take Ryuunosuke long to show up at the task board either.
He's once again an emotional void though he's smiling and his expression is pleasant.]
He's at least doing a little better with a few of his emotions... Sometimes... But right now, he waves at Ryuunosuke with no emotional anything to join it.]
There's missing posters here. They're paying thousands of sylvs to find people, dead or alive.
[...So they are going to profit off of the losses of others today, and Silver is in absolutely no position to care today.]
[Normally it wouldn't be noticeable to him, but since he's missing his usual buzzing warmth, it's a lot easier to tell the change in temperature.
...Well, there's nothing wrong with being enthusiastic about what you're doing. And if there is, he's beyond the point of caring. Silver waves him closer to the task board.]
[The warmth fades a little as Ryuunosuke studies the posters. He's focused and serious, his expression settled into something neutral for once. There certainly are a lot of people missing, aren't there? Most of them are probably dead. There are entirely too many posters for Ryuunosuke to memorize all of them, but he tries to get a good look at every single one so he has some idea of what he's looking for. Though really, finding anyone will probably be worth some sort of reward.
Not that he'll really need a reward. Seeing a dead body again would be enough of a reward for him.]
You have any place in particular you want to start looking?
[He's not surprised that someone's posted something for their dog, but it takes Ryuunosuke a moment to realize why this might bother Silver.]
Oh, because she's someone's companion, right?
[Like Weavile. Though Weavile's definitely smarter than your average dog. Ryuunosuke tips his head a bit in consideration before returning his attention to Silver.]
That might be a good place to start, yeah. Though uh, how are you planning on moving that?
[Well, there was that gator-looking creature Silver had...]
[Weavile puffs out his chest proudly at this fact. Hell yeah, he's gonna do a great job.
...Until he gets tired, anyway, but that's why he has his other partners.]
And no, it's nothing like that. Animals are kind of weird, but I still like them better than people.
[...Looks like someone's still riding on the fuckless express today. Regardless, Silver starts moving towards their first place to search; of course, they can start keeping an eye out the second they step outside.]
[Weavile follows along happily; he gets to show off how strong he is, which as far as he's concerned makes this the best day ever.]
The animals and monsters here are straightforward. The monsters have their own personalities, but they're all pretty direct about their intentions. The animals are much less intelligent [which weirds him right the hell out,] but they act similarly.
[But maybe he's just spent too long living in the woods.]
The people here can be nice, but they can just as quickly be cruel without even realizing it. Someone that would be generous to me would just as quickly hunt down my buddy Weavile for fun if he was in the wild. We're supposed to be equals.
[Despite his words, there's no emotional reaction from him. He does look weary as he explains it, but that's about it.]
[Ryuunosuke watches Weavile for a moment while he considers all of that.]
I'm from a world with animals that aren't like Weavile. There are a lot of people who have pets and they consider them family, but they're animals, not people. Weavile's definitely not like any of the animals back home. So I wouldn't be surprised if people just didn't know how to react to Weavile.
That doesn't make it right though. I'm sorry to hear that people would do that. Weavile's really cool.
[There isn't an emotional reaction from Ryuunosuke either, though he does look serious for once.]
Between animals and people, Weavile's more like a person.
[He's his family. Hell, Weavile might just be smarter than him.]
I get that reasoning when you first show up, but there are creatures that are just as smart as Weavile around this place.
[Not all of them, but a good majority of them.
Basically the natives suck. ...But of course they suck, because they also blame them for everything.
They're nearing a street that's particularly heavy on debris now; some of it looks like something you'd expect after all of Sosyne's wrrath, but there's also a large stream of blood that hasn't yet been washed away.
...Silver quickly moves ahead of whatever that is and heads for the largest and most difficult to navigate looking chunk of destruction on the street.]
[Ryuunosuke nods, but something catches his attention before he can respond. That... sure is a lot of blood isn't it. He hesitates for entirely too long just looking at it. It's occurred to him before that maybe he could summon Bluebeard here as well, but he doesn't remember the exact pattern or the words he's supposed to recite and he gave up on that idea. It's a little harder to dismiss it when he's looking at blood like this. This would easily be enough, though it's definitely not fresh enough for him to use--
Right, right, getting distracted like this isn't going to help. He tears his gaze away with far more effort than he'd care to admit and catches up to Silver.]
This is probably a pretty good place to start, yeah. It looks like no one's come through here yet.
[For obvious reason. There's no way he's going to be able to do anything here. Good thing Weavile's around!]

Hey! So what sort of job are we looking at here?

Did you just say dead or alive??]
Oh, so we're just trying to find the missing people, that shouldn't be too hard!
[...Except for the fact that he's a noodle so going through the rubble is going to be fun.]
Alright, sounds good to me!
[Ryuunosuke seems a bit too pleased with this. There isn't any sort of visible effect, but the air around him is pretty warm.]

There's pictures of them. Let's get a good look.

There's a picture of a dog on one of them, and Silver points to it in specific.]
We gotta find her.
[That is the most important mission they have today.]
I know a few spots where the debris is a little more heavy. Maybe we should start there.

[Ryuunosuke follows Silver, considering his words as they walk.]
...I guess I can see that. People can be really annoying sometimes.
[It's not really something he considered before, but Silver's got a point. Especially if the animals he knows are more like Weavile.]
