[Ryuunosuke sighs, but once he's set the cactus down he really can't think of any other reason to stall, so. Here we go? He'll follow, though he's kind of quiet the entire time why did this have to be at five in the morning.]
[Silver moves quickly- Weavile's out with him, as usual, and while he's content to run eagerly along with Silver, he moves behind Ryuunosuke once they get out of the city.
Getting into the woods isn't particularly exciting; there are trees and some birds are waking up, but the real excitement is some distance from here, and it will take quite some time to get where Silver wants to go on foot. By the time they're there, the sun hasn't quite started to rise, but it's definitely less pitch black than it was when they started.]
We're here.
[Where "here" is is anyone's guess, but Weavile's still watching the rear.]
[It's good to have Weavile keeping watch from behind, because Ryuunosuke is way too tired to pay much attention to his surroundings. He'll follow though with only minimal complaints. At least there's that?]
...Where's "here", exactly?
[He glances around, trying to wake up a bit more and pulling his coat tighter around himself.]
[He's already on it. Weavile would be on it as well, but he's on babysit Ryuunosuke and make sure he doesn't get eaten by anything duty, so he goes at his pace.]
[Despite the muted complaints, he'll uh. Try? He hasn't climbed a tree since he was a literal child. Goddamn. WE DON'T HAVE TO GO TOO HIGH UP, DO WE...]
[Luckily, the tree is actually pretty easy to climb; there are branches absolutely everywhere. Pine trees!
Less fortunately, the tree is absolutely gigantic... In fact, it seems to be significantly larger than the trees around it. Silver's making his way to the top- as high as you can climb before the branches get too flimsy to sit on.
And then he glances down from where he is and spends a long time just thinking about how much it would suck to fall out of a tree and die.]
...How many bones do you think I'd break if I fell from here? All of them?
[Despite the question, he has no intention of finding out and he makes sure he's careful getting further up. He'll stop a few branches below Silver anyway.]
I'm pretty sure Weavile wouldn't want me falling on him...
[But he climbs up to join Silver, keeping a firm grip on the branch as he looks down. Man, that sure is a drop. What would it feel like to fall from up here...?]
[Silver stands on the branch he's in and gets a little further away from the trunk of the tree, then pushes away some branches, and it's pretty clear why he picked this tree.
For one, not a single tree stands taller than it or obscures its view, and you can see miles from up here. For another, the sun's starting to rise, and they've got a crystal clear view to it.
[He's seen the sun rise, but only in that "oh hey, the sun's coming up, I should probably sleep" kind of way. He's certainly never seen anything like this.]
So that's why you woke me up so early...
[It's a distant, distracted thought though, and he tips his head a bit as he watches in awe. After a moment those sparkles will start up again, which probably isn't a surprise.]
[Silver doesn't rub it in... Or comment at all, really. He simply gets comfortable, leans back, and enjoys the view, and the sparkles and electric whatnot all come to a stop.
Instead, there's that soft warmth to him again; not too overwhelmingly warm, but enough to make things comfortable.
A view like this calms him more than anything. He could stay like this forever.]
This is a good vantage point, too. I'm guessing you haven't eaten.

You've walked two hours for a tree.]

[GROAN]
Okay, so please tell me that this tree is magical or something.

[UGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH]
Climbing a goddamn tree, what the hell...

Exercise is good for you, Ryuunosuke.]

Okay, so... Why are we up here?

[Surely there is something running through his head, but hell if he's going to share with the class.]
Weavile wouldn't let you fall, you know.

Enough mysteries, why'd you drag me up here?

Have you ever watched the sun rise, Ryuunosuke?]
