Time really flies here, doesn't it? I've been here six months already. It doesn't feel like it's been that long.

[Ryuunosuke actually looks relatively pleased today, which is a first. He's been melancholy or in tears for his previous broadcasts. Today he's sporting an arm brace on his left arm, which can be seen when he flails while talking.]

I didn't think I'd ever get used to it. I mean, this world is so different than my own. But I've come to kind of enjoy it! Don't get me wrong, it could stand to be more interesting...

So let's play a game! Don't worry, there will be prizes! I'm looking for the coolest Pokémon out there! All you have to do is show it to me on the 'Gear, though I'd love to see it in person, or even have one of my own if they're really cool! The winner will get a TM and second place will get a Moon Stone! Unless the first place winner wants the Moon Stone, I guess I could switch them.

[For the curious, Ryuunosuke has been recovering from a botched attack. He was supposed to broadcast earlier this month about an attack on the Power Plant in Kanto, but unfortunately for him, their defenses were stronger than he had planned for. Ryuunosuke kind of fell off his Steelix and injured him arm during the battle, but he managed to escape. He's currently chilling in Saffron and trying not to aggravate his injury any.]

WOAH woah woah woah woah! Did you just say six months?! You mean you've been here, not home, with no escape, for six months?

[PANIC MODE. He was kind of a lot hoping this would be like a summer camp kind of magical adventure or something.]

[Okay, momentarily ignoring Dipper FREAKING OUT over there. Because she has a pig. That bounces. HOW COOL IS THAT.]

Ooh! I've got a pig that bounces! See?

[And there's Pogo, bouncing away. You know, because if he stops bouncing, HE'LL DIE.]

Cool, huh?

[It's a good thing Riku has over forty Pokémon at his disposal. Grinning, he whistles, and there's a rumbling roar in the background, followed by the sound of stomping. The camera turns. Meteors rain down from the sky as a Garchomp leaps into view and gnashes his teeth.]

Well, there's always a Garchomp. Quake here's fast and lethal. Throw up some sand, and he's almost impossible to hit. Moves like Outrage total the opposition. And if you're worried about weaknesses...

[Quake grunts and bares his fangs. Flames form at the very tips, and he slams his mouth shut.]

He's got it covered.

[Quake flashes his claws and grins, slipping out of sight.]

But that's just a warm up. I've got more where that came from...

[...yeahno, junior. Yeahno.]

Mr. Uryuu. As pleased though I am to have had you in Johto this long - and I do appreciate the captures you sent to me earlier, I received those with no issue - I certainly do hope you aren't procrastinating.

[Oh yeah, he didn't tell Kimblee about that attack did he... um...]

Well, you know that attack I had planned? I went through with it and all but...

[He laughs, sounding a bit sheepish. He gestures to the brace on his arm.]

Well, this happened when I was fleeing. They were way tougher than I expected.

Yeah, pretty much! It's nice here though! I mean, sure I miss my friends, but it's not that big of a deal. You get used to it.

Was it a matter of failing to penetrate their defenses entirely, then?

Yep. I figured I'd be fine since it's a Power Plant and I had Steelix...

[Another laugh. This sucks, senior.]

There were a lot more workers there than I thought there'd be. They were really good too.

[Considering he has several level 100s...]

[His eyes go wide and he laughs - the sound isn't entirely sane.]

That's so cool! Show me what else you have!

[Kimblee pauses for a moment; his gaze flicks elsewhere on the screen, looking toward that brace Ryuunosuke pointed out earlier.]

And that injury? Did someone give it to you, or was it...ah, accidental, due to using said Steelix?

[Because he wouldn't be surprised if it's that second one; he's fallen multiple times himself in training, and the one time during the fight with Suicune resulted in spinal injuries ~~that still cause issues that flare up from time to time because lol what is remaining immobile for long enough to heal properly, but like hell if he's going to complain~~ - from what he's seen, Ryuunosuke has taken to riding the thing, and he wouldn't put it past the kid to do so in battle simply because...well. Greatest cool and all that.]

Oh no, that was an accident! I... well, I fell off the Steelix. I landed in the water and Gyarados got me out of there. Still, it's good that I didn't break it!

[It really was the greatest cool, you would have been so proud... until he started losing miserably. orz]

[At least you admit it...]

Well, that is unfortunate - shall I accompany you next time?

Oh yeah, that would be awesome! We'd be able to take out anyone that way!

...Though maybe we can find an easier target. Just to be safe...

People are adaptable. Six months or not, you always get used to this place.

And isn't judging Pokemon by which one is "coolest" subjective, anyway?

I haven't seen enough of them to know what is the local standard for cool, but my Houndour's pretty great.

[Said Houndour is currently running circles around a Sentret and barking fire in the air, which is all the video shows.]

Yeah, I figured as much. Even if it wouldn't get in the way, this thing's kind of easy to recognize.

[He taps the brace in explanation. No sense trying to fit this under the standard gloves anyway.]

I just arrived. The two of us have been battling and catching nonstop for a few days, and he still manages to keep up with me.
