SECOND DESIRE ☠ ANONYMOUS TEXT

[Ryuunosuke has never liked copycat killers. They always struck him as try-hards, vying for attention by riding on someone else's coattails. He'd had his fair share of them, but in the end it didn't matter. Hey, if they were good enough and those kills were said to be his then fine. It gave him a higher kill count anyway.]

[But things are different here in Johto. Ryuunosuke doesn't have the means to kill in the ways he enjoyed so thoroughly back home. Instead he has Pokémon.]

[Haunter, Gyarados, and Steelix are all intimidating, and all three of them have learned to follow his commands without hesitation. Ryuunosuke likes the power that comes with it, but more than that he likes the fact that they'll attack humans.]

[If you're tuning in to your Gear later at night, you'll receive several lovely photos in quick succession. The first shows the outside of the Fighting Dojo in Saffron City. It doesn't look any different than usual. It appears to have been taken before the sun set, however.]

[The second photo is more troubling - a Team Rocket Grunt is now standing in front of the door, holding a Pokéball. He's masked and it's hard to tell anything about him other than the fact that he's of average height and maybe a bit on the skinny side; he looks like the average Grunt.]

[The third photo takes place inside - the Fighting Dojo has clearly been attacked. Puddles of water and rocks litter the ground and from the looks of it, everything's been badly shaken. Even the camera's angle is tilted in an odd direction, and probably not just to be artsy. There are only two trainers in the photo, both with their Pokémon out; apparently this Rocket Grunt caught them at a bad time. The Dojo's leader is nowhere to be found.]

[The fourth photo is a bit difficult to decipher unless you're familiar with Thunderbolt. The attack isn't hitting the Pokémon but rather the trainers.]

[The final photo shows the Rocket Grunt kneeling next to the Dojo's leader, Pokéballs in hand. He's in the process of spray painting a large red R on one of the trainer's backs. There's another one on the wall behind them and on the second trainer.]

[Finally, a text follows.]

Maybe this time you'll actually catch me.

[Ryuunosuke never had any respect for copycat killers. But emulating other members of Team Rocket? This is fun.]

[OOC: Mod approved! Ryuunosuke has no idea who the original anonymous Team Rocket member was. He's assuming the attack on Envy was by the same person. If you're hoping to catch him, good luck! He's hoped the train and chilling in the Goldenrod base by now. He will respond to any texts though! He's also made off with four Pokémon: Tyrogue, two Machokes, and a Primeape! One of the Machokes has been sent to Team Rocket, but Ryuunosuke's keeping the other three.]

That depends on what you want to know.

[Oh, don't worry, his response is prompt enough; there's a bit of a delay, but it's only enough to account for the length of the message sent.]

The time on the message is inaccurate by ten minutes or so; I was already out of the theatre by the time it was sent. There was no point in drawing people to the place while I was still inside, after all. It happened during a break between shows, however; I finished at about half-five or so.

As for the Pokemon, several of them were stolen and handed over to Team Rocket; however, if you're referring to the creatures in the images - clever of you for asking as though there was only one. Those Eevees were a bit of a handful, both of them; that's obviously me in the picture with them, and I kept having to retake it. They kept trying to escape; it was a bit annoying.

They've both evolved now, by the way. Lovely pets.

Surely you don't think Pokemon are only good for attacking people?

That's the only thing you can think of? I'm disappointed.

[You mustn't be afraid to dream a little bigger, darling.]

As it stands, I don't think I'll tell you, if you can't come up with any valid way to do it yourself; I don't need you shamelessly stealing all of my tactics, now, do I?

And as I've said, I've already gotten credit for my work, and I have at least two witnesses who know, for a fact, that it was me. I went so far as to reveal my name and face to one of them during our discourse at the time of both incidents, simply so issues like this - namely, someone trying to steal my methods - wouldn't be a problem for me.

So why should I care if you don't believe me? The people who matter already know.

Do you want the "right" answer, the truthful answer, or both?
explosivecombat: (Don't worry; it's nothing personal)

The "right" answer? Fearmongering, driven by sheer ambition. Team Rocket hasn't always been seen in the light that it should be - namely, as a legitimate threat; by making it one, it can only benefit the organization while ensuring that I gain credit as the one that benefited it so much in the first place. Everyone wins.

The truthful answer is that I did it out of sheer boredom.

Glad to have amused.

I don't really discriminate when it comes to my targets; if something looks interesting or challenging enough, then I'll generally do it. The Kimono Girls were more than innocent women - they were celebrities. As such, the challenge level was increased, as was the payoff.

Some of it was planned, yes. But not all of it.

It takes the fun out of it if everything is planned - I like there being an element of the unexpected, even aimed toward me.

At this point? I don't see why not, as long as you'll make good on your end.
